Weekly Photo Challenge: Silhouette

The photo I use for my main page would qualify as a silhouette, it’s a photo of my son and I reflected as a shadow in a field, but since I have used that one in a previous challenge, months ago, I thought I’d post a different one.

This is a photo of a friend of mine when we went to Milan a few years ago.  We had walked at least a few miles from the church where DaVinci’s ‘Last Supper’ is displayed, to the main square in Milan, trying to cram in as much as we could on our last day of vacation.  A hot and sunny day, we were very happy to find a vendor selling drinks.  I had an Orangina.  You can tell what my friend had.

This was before the both of us had wives and families, many changes have happened for both of us since we went on this trip, almost all for the good though.  Just a few weeks later we both met our future wives, just a few weeks apart from each other,  it was a good trip.

I did not receive any payment from Coca Cola for this photo, maybe I should.

    • I could go on a soda rant as a post, since we’re trying not to give C any soda at all. But I will sometimes have one myself. Though as a food snob, they will be something like Orangina, San Pellegrino, or an Izzy soda. I’m not sure if the high end soda is better for you or not, but I think they taste better at least. (Thought I’d have a post without relating it back to parenting, but looks like I just couldn’t do it!)

    • If I don’t have the winner, I’ll check if my library has it. My wife and I split the vote, she voted for Hunt, Fish, I voted for the Hopkinson book
